Mohammad Ali R. Lootah

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah assumes the vital role of President & CEO at Dubai Chambers, a significant pillar of economic development in Dubai. Within this capacity, he orchestrates the execution of Dubai Chambers’ strategic endeavors, aimed at enhancing the business environment, facilitating global business expansion, attracting foreign investment, and propelling the digital economy.

In his preceding role, Lootah held the position of CEO at the Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection department within Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism. His responsibilities encompassed safeguarding consumer rights, ensuring business integrity, preserving intellectual property, and enforcing commercial compliance.

Lootah’s distinguished career includes various leadership roles at the Department of Economic Development, such as Deputy CEO of the Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection Sector, Deputy CEO of the Dubai Export Development Corporation, Executive Director of Corporate Quality and Excellence, and Deputy Director of the Information Technology Department at Dubai Land Department.

He pursued higher education with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University in the United States and further enriched his knowledge with an Executive MBA in Strategic Management from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai.
